We're Too Good For Y'all

We're too good for y'all.

Too strong to be beaten back, too wise to accept the lies you spew. Too much royalty runs through our blood to accept the peasantry you provide, we come from African kings and queens. We're too fly and too smooth; we CREATE the culture that you steal and poorly replicate. We're too compassionate; it's as if we don't really know how to hate. We are of divine power, and that's why Blackness can never die. That's why all want to be like us. We've always been too good for y'all, and you know it. That's why you've beat, raped, and killed us all this time. You hate that you'll never be us, so why not erase us?

Now we're too angry, and too fed up to continue our protests peacefully. No longer do the methods of Dr. King justify the type of disdain that we receive. The teachings of Malcolm X and Huey Newton now rage in our boiling blood.

Also to all those that are of the 'Caucasian persuasion' who threaten to call the police on black people for no reason, because you know that you have the PRIVILEGE of being more credible than us, fuck you. You know the power that you wield and you actively use it against us. You're murderers in your own right.

And if you are a white person who gets offended by my generalizations of Caucasian MURDERERS, how does it feel?

Because the stereotypes that black people have lived with every day for the entirety of their lives are stigmatic. Black men are lazy, dumb, criminals... black women are angry, ghetto, and so much tougher than their white counterparts that we "accidentally" die when no one listens to what we know WE need.

I'm done with not saying anything in efforts to avoid awkward conversations and keep friendships with people who don't care to discuss the hardships that we face daily. Be an ally. Take some sort of stand. If you see something that's wrong, use your fuckin PRIVILEGE and help. Don't cower due to your discomfort. If you do, you're just as complicit as your racist brethren.

And please, do not form some sort of White Savior superiority complex. We don't need your help in this fight, we would appreciate having you on our side. If not, you can get all this smoke too. What we don't have time for is nominal allies.

I'm just so tired. I'm tired of pretending that I'm alright. I'm tired of you believing that we are less than. We have always been GREATER, and we will always be.
